Mission:

The University Psychedelic Education Program (U-PEP) is a philanthropically supported initiative that expands access to education about the therapeutic use of psychedelic medicines by equipping faculty in nursing, social work, medicine, psychology, and public health with the knowledge and resources needed to develop and teach this content. 

Vision:

All students in related fields will obtain foundational evidence-based psychedelic knowledge as part of their professional education.

Program Goals:

  • To educate faculty members in nursing, social work, medicine, psychology, and public health about psychedelic-assisted research and care
  • To help faculty in relevant health professions develop evidence-based curricular content about psychedelic-assisted research and care
  • To provide faculty members with the mentorship and tools needed to integrate psychedelic content into their respective programs
  • To foster collaboration & community among participating faculty members
     

Application Components - Note that all letters will be uploaded to the application portal  

  • Eligibility Letter from Lead Faculty Member
  • Commitment Letter from Dean
  • CV or Biosketch for each Participating Faculty Member
  • Personal Statements for Faculty Members
  • Short Answer Questions about Integrating Psychedelic Content

Important Dates

  • Application Due: 11:59 pm PST on December 5, 2025
  • Zoom Interview, if applicable - January 2026
  • Applicants will be notified by February 15, 2026
